The Incredible Story behind this
Children's Book
During the pandemic in 2020, Shiloh wrote a paragraph on the story of Noah's Ark, empathizing with poor Noah's predicament of being stuck inside with all those naughty animals. The very next day, she woke up inspired and wrote three-quarters of the entire story. And for fun, she created an audio version to go with it.
Two weeks later, in the middle of trying to delete the story and audio from her phone, someone she knew unexpectedly called. They ended up having a conversation about reading to kids, and Shiloh casually mentioned the story she had written, joking about their interruption and if God had sent them to stop her from deleting it. They immediately interrupted her mid sentence, insisting that she send what she had written. Shiloh initially brushed it off, but they persisted. She finally relented and sent them the audio, and they played the audio while their family was in the same room.
Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing to listen intently, expressing their curiosity about the storyteller's identity. Impressed by the response, they called Shiloh back , and inquired about when Shiloh could complete the story and the potential cost of turning it into a book. They even expressed their willingness to invest in the project.
And now, three years later . . . here we are . . . riding on
The Floating Zoo . . .
Created with love, for little children who are
always up for a good laugh, those looking for an opportunity to learn from God's Word and a way to learn valuable lessons in everyday life.
This book teaches children about dealing with chaos and challenges: The story explores Noah's experiences in managing the chaos on the Ark, including handling mischievous animals and dealing with nosey neighbors.
Promotes empathy and kindness: Children learn about the importance of animals learning to live with one another, even if they are initially uncomfortable, and the value of being kind to each other.
Encourages emotional regulation: Noah's journey involves learning to control his own emotions in the face of challenging situations.
Emphasizes obedience to God: The book reinforces the lesson of obeying God's commands through Noah's unwavering obedience in building the Ark and gathering the animals.
Illustrates the significance of the "little things" and teamwork: The story includes subtle lessons that even the seemingly insignificant or weak creatures, like raccoons and termites, have a role to play in helping others and exercising self-control.
Encourages acceptance and overcoming preconceived notions: The giraffes' journey of accepting the lions, despite preconceived ideas, teaches children about the importance of acceptance and not judging others based on initial impressions.

What in the world was Noah going to do.
And where was he going to hide this Floating ZOO?
Noah is in for a 500th Birthday surprise, all was going well in his world until God came and asked Noah to build something called an Ark. What on earth was an Ark? And what in the world was a flood and rain?!? Noah had no idea what he was in for and what he was building . . . all he knew was to trust God. Noah had to take 2 of every kind of animal on the Ark, never mind about his nosey neighbors who wanted to know what he was building and why.
We all feel like Noah at some point in our lives, when God shares what is on His heart with us. It's always much bigger than what we can ever imagine, but always totally worth the adventure!
